CEO of Diboty Consulting KG is Mrs Andrea Steffal who founded the company in 2013.

Mrs Steffal has worked for more than 5 years as Director of Administration and Finances in a regional hospital in Gabon for the company Vamed Management and Service GmbH & CO KG. Through her work in an international team and the management of 300 local employees, she has gained a broad expertise and understanding of the local culture and its particularities. Although the African Continent is culturally very diverse, there are certain common features of the cultures that have to be taken into consideration when Europeans would like to establish fruitful co-operations.

Before her assignment in Gabon, she worked for several years as Regional Director of SOS Children’s Villages in the Balkans and was responsible for Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, North Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo. Her tasks included negotiations with governments for the set-up of new SOS villages, accompaniment of construction projects and the sustainable development of national SOS Children’s Villages Associations including local management teams.

After working for SOS Children’s Villages, she was responsible for an EU-financed project of Caritas Austria for the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and worked and lived for a year in Beirut.

In 2013 she returned to Austria and founded Diboty Consulting KG. As she very much enjoys leading people, she returned to a management job in 2014 until 2018 as Head of Interdisciplinary Performance Management and Member of the Executive Board of Kuratorium Wiener Pensionisten Wohnhäuser.

Mrs Steffal holds a degree in commercial sciences from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, and also has a diploma as a trainer from the WIFI in Vienna, for conflict resolution training which was done with Dudley Weeks in Washington, and has other different certificates like the “International Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance” and the “Certificate of Training in United Nations Peace Support Operations”.

Mrs. Steffal has also obtained a diploma in solution-oriented Coaching and in Reteaming. In 2021, she finalized an MBA in Management Consultancy.

Besides speaking her mother tongue German, she is also fluent in English and French.
